The Crossfire collection has evolved once again. The SIDI Crossfire 3 SRS boot has been completely redesigned, retaining only the proven SIDI Cam Lock buckles and straps from the Crossfire 2 SRS boot. The inner gaiter now features a larger circumference than that of the Crossfire 2, accommodating a wider range of calf sizes and securely wrapping the rider's lower leg regardless of the knee protector system used. It includes a heat-resistant grip panel made of suede on the upper inner side for maximum grip. The revamped Dual Flex Ankle System prevents movement beyond anatomical limits which could lead to injuries, while not restricting mobility for normal shifting and braking. Likely the most durable and easy-to-maintain motocross boot on the market, the design utilizes replaceable parts instead of stitching, meaning virtually every part can be replaced season after season. The new ankle pivot system has been developed to prevent foot/ankle hyperextension. The newly designed footbed sports a more cupped and thicker form, allowing the rider's foot to sit deeper in the sole. The innovative Dovetail SR anti-slip rubber sole covers the heel area of the sole and is replaceable with hand tools. The toe and heel areas of the Dovetail SR sole have now become permanent fixtures. Coated Technomicro base material is used throughout, along with a sleek, cool, non-bootie calf plate system featuring a dual internal adjustment, which expands to accommodate the largest calf or knee protector systems. The nylon insole comes with an inner heat shield made of grippy material and a removable footbed. The toe area is overlaid with protective plastic and the new rigid, shock-resistant anatomical heel holds the rider's foot firmly, preventing twisting while providing extra protection. It is replaceable and sleek. All buckles move independently and are anchored by one fixed point (via a screw), allowing for easy fastening. The buckles can adjust to the rider's position, as they rotate around the attachment screw when the rider shifts position on the motorcycle. The lower buckle guards prevent accidental opening during an impact. The central strap system can easily be fully replaced and is available in two sizes. The foot area is lined with comfort-enhancing, abrasion-resistant Cambrelle, while the upper is lined with Teflon mesh that entirely prevents the absorption of water and sweat. These materials ensure that water or sweat does not seep into the boot fabric. The footwear dries quickly and the pre-treatment also prevents the development of mold. All components are replaceable.
