The VERTEX 2-Stroke Pistons are crafted using a gravity casting method from an aluminum alloy containing 18% silicon. The inclusion of silicon significantly reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, which decreases the likelihood of piston slap and potential fractures. Additionally, silicon enhances the piston's wear resistance, extending its operational lifespan. Each kit is delivered with a piston including piston rings, piston pin, and clips. The 2-Stroke piston versions include: Replica - a piston that maintains the original shape, Race - a design that enhances performance, and Pro Race - a specially forged piston for advanced applications.
