The VERTEX Two-Stroke Piston is crafted using a gravity casting process from an aluminum alloy that contains 18% silicon. The inclusion of silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, minimizing the risk of piston slap and breakage. Silicon also enhances the piston's wear resistance, significantly prolonging its lifespan. Each piston kit includes piston rings, a piston pin, and a piston pin lock. The two-stroke piston designs are offered in three variations: Replica, which matches the original form; Race, which offers performance enhancement; and Pro Race, which is a forged specialty piston. This product is ideal for maintaining the optimal performance and longevity of your KTM or HQV engines.
