These pistons are made from the finest aluminum alloy (2618), offering remarkable strength and longevity. To reduce wear and tear, each VERTEX piston features a MOS2 coating on the piston skirt. With the VERTEX Top-End Piston Kit, you save time and money, as this complete set includes everything you need for piston replacement. The kit comes with a cylinder gasket set and timing chain. The 4-stroke piston configuration includes: Pro Replica, which is a forged piston matching the original form, and Pro HC, which is a forged specialty piston for higher compression and increased performance.
