The DRT5 Maven Helmet is OAKLEY's latest MTB helmet, designed to provide progressive riders with the protection they need to shine on any trail around the world. The completely redesigned shape of the DRT5 Maven offers the best proportions and balance by sitting deeper on the head for a more natural profile. Bold lines make it attractive for any rider looking for style, while new ventilation ports significantly increase airflow to keep the head cool on long days at the bike. The MIPS® B-Series safety system features a low-friction layer inside the helmet between the padding and the EPS foam protective layer, allowing multi-directional movement of 10-15mm on certain angled impacts to reduce rotational force on the head. The micro-adjustable BOA Fit System offers quick micro-adjustments for a personalized and finely tuned fit. The Ionic+® antimicrobial lining by NOBLE BIOMATERIALS enhances breathability while simultaneously reducing fabric mass. The primary mechanism behind ionic+® is the release of silver ions from the fabric. When ionic+® is integrated into the helmet lining, positively charged ions are released upon moisture, helping inhibit and eliminate microbes on the surface of the product to protect it from microbial influences. The adjustable four-point visor keeps dirt and sun off your face during rides and provides a secure place for your goggles and glasses. For added safety, rubber insert pads are placed in the goggle storage slots, ensuring your sunglasses are securely stowed and easily accessible. A unique look is provided by an Iridium reflective coating on the rear of the helmet, which reflects the colors of the OAKLEY PRIZM lenses.
