The Tech-Air® 5 is a sleek, self-contained, wearable airbag vest designed for use under any well-fitted textile jacket or Tech-Air compatible jacket. Offering unrivaled upper body protection, the Tech-Air® 5 safeguards motorcyclists by uniquely covering the rider's shoulders, chest, ribs, and entire back. This state-of-the-art wearable vest features an active electronic system with six integrated sensors (3 gyroscopes and 3 accelerometers) and a crash algorithm that uses AI to precisely monitor when to deploy the airbag in the event of an accident. Upon detecting a crash situation, a protective airbag is deployed, offering the rider unparalleled protection with a maximum inflation time of 40 milliseconds. The impact absorption provided by the airbag reduces impact force by up to 93% compared to passive protection. Note: The Tech-Air® 5 vest can be worn under any well-fitted textile jacket, but the jacket must be large enough to allow for airbag expansion in the event of a crash, requiring an extra 6 cm around the body. Features include a lithium-ion battery with a runtime of 30 hours, a magnetic micro USB charger, and Bluetooth connectivity with the Tech Air App for status display, battery monitoring, detailed ride analysis, and firmware updates.
