The VERTEX 2-stroke pistons are produced using gravity casting from an aluminum alloy with an 18% silicon content. This silicon inclusion reduces thermal expansion during operating temperatures, resulting in a piston that is less prone to rattling and breaking. Additionally, silicon provides better wear resistance, thereby extending the longevity of the pistons. The piston kit comes complete with piston ring(s), piston pin, and piston pin clip! Available in various 2-stroke piston specifications: Replica – matches the original shape, Race – performance-boosting design, Pro Race – a forged specialized piston.
