VERTEX 2-stroke pistons are gravity cast from an aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content. This silicon component helps reduce thermal expansion at operating temperatures, making the piston less prone to rattling and breakage. Silicon also enhances wear characteristics, thereby extending the piston’s service life. The kit includes piston, piston ring(s), piston pin, and piston pin retaining clip! Available in three versions: Replica (matches the original shape), Race (performance-enhancing design), and Pro Race (special forged piston).
