The VERTEX TopEnd Piston Kit is meticulously engineered for KTM, HQV, and GASGAS motorcycles. These 2-stroke pistons are crafted using a gravity-casting process from an aluminum alloy that contains 18% silicon. The inclusion of silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperature, resulting in pistons that are less prone to rattling and breakage. Furthermore, silicon enhances the wear characteristics of the pistons, significantly extending their lifespan. Each kit includes the piston, piston ring(s), piston pin, and piston pin lock. The 2-stroke piston options include: Replica, which matches the OEM form, Race, which is designed for performance enhancement, and Pro Race, which is a forged specialty piston.
