The DRT5 Maven helmet is OAKLEY's latest MTB helmet, designed to offer progressive riders the protection they truly need to shine on any trail worldwide. The completely redesigned shape of the DRT5 Maven provides superb proportions and balance, thanks to its deeper and more natural fit on the head. Bold lines make it attractive to any rider looking for style, while new ventilation openings significantly increase airflow to keep your head cool during long days on the bike. The MIPS® B-Series safety system features a low-friction layer between the padding and the EPS foam protective layer inside the helmet. This allows a multidirectional movement of 10-15 mm during certain angled impacts to reduce rotational force on the head. The micro-adjustable BOA Fit System offers quick micro-adjustments for a personalized and finely-tuned fit. The Ionic+® antimicrobial inner lining by NOBLE BIOMATERIALS increases breathability while reducing fabric mass. The primary mechanism behind ionic+® is the release of silver ions from the fabric. When ionic+® is integrated into the helmet lining, it releases positively charged ions when exposed to moisture, helping to inhibit and eliminate microbes on the surface of the product, protecting it from microbial influences. The adjustable four-point visor keeps dirt and sun away from your face while also providing a secure spot for your glasses and goggles. For added security, rubber insert pads are placed in the goggle storage openings. Your sunglasses are securely stored and always within easy reach for quick and easy access. For a unique look, the rear of the helmet features an iridium reflective coating that reflects the OAKLEY PRIZM lens colors.
