It maximizes stability and comfort while ensuring uncompromising performance. The exclusive prepreg composite carbon frame is crafted from layers of military-grade carbon fiber sheets that are pressed, heated, and molded to enhance strength while minimizing weight. The new adaptive sub-frame increases comfort by accommodating any leg size or shape, balancing muscle movements and distributing stress effectively. The patented Human Motion® hinge technology utilizes synthetic ligaments™ to offer progressive multi-directional motion control. Key features include: • Stronger pre-bent ligament • Increased flex angle - (118° to 134°) • Molded knee gripper • Clip-in hinge pads • Symmetrical hinge • Enhanced joint durability With innovation, research, and testing, POD has developed its own soft, flexible, and lightweight CE Level 2 (EN1621-2) certified Full Coverage Impact System. This innovative proprietary viscoelastic polymer (re((SPOᴎSE))™) minimizes shocks, dampens vibrations, and distributes energy over a wide temperature range. The industry's first adaptive sub-frame by POD supports the leg and adjusts to its movement while reducing the risk and severity of injurious rotational forces by 54%. Two rigid composite bars extend on each side of the shin, providing conventional extension and flex control, while an innovative, flexible TPU rubber bridge allows the sub-frame to adapt to different leg shapes, significantly increasing comfort. HEX Grip Liners enhance comfort, reduce odor, and secure inner straps and clips to anchor the brace firmly to the leg, preventing movement during use.
