The VERTEX 2-stroke pistons are manufactured using gravity casting from an aluminum alloy with an 18% silicon content. Silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, resulting in pistons that are less prone to rattling and breakage. The inclusion of silicon also enhances the wear resistance, thus extending the lifespan of the pistons. The kit includes a piston with one or more piston rings, a piston pin, and piston pin circlips. The 2-stroke piston options are as follows: Replica, which mirrors the original design; Race, which improves performance; and Pro Race, which consists of a forged special piston. Designed for durability and performance, the VERTEX TopEnd Piston Kit is a reliable choice for KTM and HQV models.
