The SHOEI NXR2 Ideograph TC-5 is a high-performance, lightweight motorcycle helmet engineered for both sport riding and touring. Its outer shell uses AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) combined with a multi-density EPS core to provide optimized impact protection while minimizing weight and neck strain. Vision is exceptional thanks to the newly developed two-dimensional CWR-F2 visor with a central locking mechanism and a tool-free quick-change system; a larger Pinlock® Evo insert with rearward mounting points maintains unobstructed, fog-free sight in poor weather. Comfort and fit are highly customizable via removable, washable cheek pads, head pads and chin strap pads, and EQRS emergency quick-release cheek pads allow safer emergency removal. Ventilation is managed by six inlets and four exhaust outlets linked through internal channels, and an integrated rear spoiler improves high-speed stability by reducing lift and drag. Practical extras include recesses for communication systems, an adjustable double-D chin strap, and an accessory pack with breath guard, chin guard, SHOEI helmet bag, logo sticker and silicone oil for visor maintenance.
