Drying - To dry the visor and avoid unwanted streaks, a lint-free, fine microfiber cloth should be used. Scratches - Under no circumstances should the visor be wiped 'just like that' with motorcycle gloves or other unsuitable or dirty objects! This can cause scratches, especially on coated visors. If a visor has significant scratches, it is advisable to replace it. Scratched visors accelerate the aging process and pose a safety risk, especially in the field of vision. Mirrored visors can scratch easily if handled carelessly, which can cause unwanted reflections. Plasticizers - Visors contain plasticizers that evaporate over the years, which is exacerbated by frequent use due to UV exposure. As a result, the visor loses its flexibility and can shatter in the event of an accident, causing severe cuts to the face. Replacement - The visor should be replaced after a maximum of five years.
