The outer shell of the NXR2 is crafted from AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) and provides optimal impact protection in combination with the shock-absorbing polystyrene core system. The newly developed CWR-F2 visor offers a distortion-free and very natural view thanks to its two-dimensional design. A centrally positioned locking mechanism prevents accidental opening of the visor. The new mechanism allows the visor to be changed and adjusted quickly without tools. The larger Pinlock® Evo lens, with its far-reaching attachment points, ensures clear vision even in adverse weather conditions. The easily adjustable double D-ring closure keeps the helmet securely in place. In emergencies, the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) allows the cheek pads to be easily removed. Whether in sports use or on a tour, its lightweight construction relieves neck muscles. The cheek cushions, head cushion, and chin strap pads are removable and washable. The helmet can be individually adjusted with head and cheek pads. There are recesses in the ear area for the installation of a communication system. Six air intakes and four exhaust outlets are connected through a branched system within the helmet shell. The closure sliders are easily operable even with gloves. The integrated spoiler at the rear stabilizes the helmet at higher speeds. Its aerodynamic design reduces drag and lift tendency. The helmet comes standard with a clear CWR-F2 visor. Visors in a variety of different tints and mirrors are also available. Each of these visors can accommodate a Pinlock® lens. The delivery package includes a Breath Guard, Chin Guard, SHOEI logo sticker, original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for the care of the visor seal and visor mechanism.
