The SHOEI NXR2 Prologue TC-5 helmet features an outer shell made from AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), providing optimal impact protection when combined with a polystyrene core system that is engineered for absorption. The newly developed CWR-F2 visor, with its two-dimensional design, offers a distortion-free and natural view. A centrally located locking mechanism prevents unwanted visor opening. Thanks to the new mechanism, the visor can be quickly and tool-free changed and adjusted. The larger Pinlock® Evo lens, with its rear-positioned mounting points, ensures a clear view even in challenging weather conditions. The easily adjustable Double-D-ring closure keeps the helmet securely in place. In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed using the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System). Whether in sporty use or on a tour, its light weight eases neck strain. Cheek pads, head pads, and chin strap pads are removable and washable. The helmet can be customized with different head and cheek pads. There are ear recesses for mounting a communication system. Six air inlets and four exhaust outlets are connected through a branched system within the helmet shell. The closure sliders are easily tactile even with gloves. The integrated rear spoiler stabilizes the helmet at higher speeds. Its aerodynamic, optimized design reduces wind resistance and lift tendencies. The helmet is equipped with a clear CWR-F2 visor by default. Visors in a variety of different tints and mirror coatings are also available. Each of these visors can accommodate a Pinlock® lens. Included in the package are a Breath Guard, a Chin Guard, a SHOEI logo sticker, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for visor seal and mechanism maintenance.
