The SHOEI Helmet NXR2 Scanner TC-5 features an AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) outer shell that, combined with a polystyrene core system made of absorbent materials, offers optimal impact protection. The newly designed CWR-F2 visor provides a distortion-free and natural view thanks to its two-dimensional shape. A centrally located lock mechanism prevents accidental opening of the visor. With the new mechanism, the visor can be quickly and tool-free replaced and adjusted. The larger Pinlock® Evo lens ensures clear vision even in challenging weather conditions, thanks to rear-set attachment points. The easily adjustable Double-D ring fastener keeps the helmet securely in position. In case of an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed using the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System). Its lightweight construction reduces neck muscle strain whether used for sports or touring. The removal and washable components include cheek pads, head pads, and chin strap pads, allowing for a customizable fit. Ready for a communication system, the helmet features ear area cutouts. The six air inlets and four exhaust outlets are interconnected through an intricate internal ventilation system. Even with gloves, the closure sliders are easily operable. The integrated spoiler at the rear stabilizes the helmet at higher speeds. Its aerodynamic design minimizes wind resistance and lift tendencies. It comes standard with a clear CWR-F2 visor, with various tinted and mirrored visors available. Each visor can accommodate a Pinlock® lens. Included in the package are a Breath Guard, Chin Guard, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for visor seal and mechanism maintenance.
