VERTEX 2-stroke pistons are cast using gravity casting from an aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content. The silicon component helps reduce thermal expansion at operating temperatures, making the pistons less prone to rattling and breakage. Additionally, silicon grants the pistons superior wear resistance, significantly extending their lifespan. This kit includes the piston, piston ring(s), wrist pin, and wrist pin circlips. VERTEX offers different piston types for 2-stroke engines: Replica, which matches the original form; Race, designed to enhance performance; and Pro Race, a specialty forged piston.
