The SHOEI VFX-WR Glaive TC-1 motocross helmet is engineered with a 6-layer composition of fiberglass, organic fibers, and high-performance fiber materials forming the AIM+ outer shell. Despite its relatively low overall weight, the helmet delivers optimal impact protection thanks to its multi-density EPS liner system and the innovative M.E.D.S (Motion Energy Distribution System). To ensure the helmet stays securely in place, it features a Double-D ring closure. The EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) allows for the easy removal of cheek pads in emergencies, facilitating gentle helmet removal. The helmet also contributes to reduced neck muscle strain through its mass centralization design. The interior, including head, cheek, and chin straps, is fully removable and washable. For a personalized fit, head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses. With 7 intake vents and 8 exhaust outlets, ventilation is optimal, reducing temperature inside the helmet and promoting ample airflow. The large nose cover is equipped with a metal grid and a replaceable filter insert to shield against dust, dirt, and stones. Included with the helmet are a mud guard, replacement screws for the helmet visor, an anti-reflective sticker, SHOEI logo stickers, and an original SHOEI helmet bag.
