The SHOEI VFX-WR Glaive TC-5 is expertly engineered with a 6-layer composition of fiberglass, organic fibers, and high-performance fabrics that form the AIM+ outer shell. Despite its relatively low weight, the helmet offers optimal impact protection through a polystyrene core system composed of multiple, distinct absorption elements and the new M.E.D.S (Motion Energy Distribution System). For secure fitting, the VFX-WR is equipped with a Double-D ring closure. The EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) facilitates the easy removal of cheek pads in emergencies, allowing for a gentle helmet removal. The helmet's weight centralization substantially reduces neck muscle strain, enhancing rider comfort. The fully removable and washable head, cheek, and chin strap pads ensure a customizable fit, with various thicknesses available for heads and cheek pads. The helmet features 7 air intake vents and 8 exhaust outlets to reduce internal temperature and maintain fresh airflow. A large nose cover equipped with a metal grid and replaceable filter insert prevents the ingress of dust, dirt, and stones. The package includes a Mud Guard, spare screws for the visor, an anti-reflective sticker, SHOEI logo sticker, and an original SHOEI helmet bag.
