The SHOEI GT-Air 2 Tesseract TC-5 Helmet is constructed with an Advanced Integrated Matrix (AIM) shell that combines with a multi-piece polystyrene core system to provide optimal impact protection. The helmet features a quick-change mechanism, allowing the factory-installed clear CNS-1 visor to be swapped out without tools. For clear visibility in adverse weather conditions, the helmet includes a Pinlock® Evo lens. The chinstrap comes with an easy-to-use and adjustable micro ratchet closure. In emergencies, the cheek pads can be removed effortlessly thanks to the Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS). The cheek pads, head pad, and chinstrap pad are all removable and washable. To achieve a custom fit, various thicknesses of the head and cheek pads can be purchased. The QSV-2 sun visor can be adjusted seamlessly and can optionally be switched out for a yellow sun visor. The helmet has dedicated spaces for the ears and pre-fitted cable channels for easy installation of the Shoei SRL2 communication system. Multiple intake and exhaust vents help regulate the temperature inside the GT-Air II. The visor locking mechanism offers a small gap in the first notch for extra airflow. A range of visors in different tints and mirror finishes are optionally available. The package includes a Pinlock® Evo lens compatible with the CNS-1 visor, replacement pins, a breath guard, a chin curtain, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for maintaining the visor seal and mechanism.
