The outer shell of the NXR2 is constructed from AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), offering optimal impact protection when combined with the polystyrene core system designed for absorption. The newly developed CWR-F2 visor provides a distortion-free and very natural view thanks to its two-dimensional shape. A centrally placed locking mechanism prevents the visor from unintentionally opening, and the new mechanism allows for quick and tool-free visor changes and adjustments. The larger Pinlock® Evo lens, with its rearward mounting points, ensures clear vision even in challenging weather conditions. The easily adjustable double D-ring closure keeps the helmet securely in place. In case of an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed using the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System). Whether used for sporty riding or touring, its lightweight design reduces neck muscle strain. The cheek pads, head padding, and chinstrap padding are removable and washable, allowing for individual customization with different pads. The helmet also has recesses in the ear area for the installation of a communication system. Six air inlets and four exhaust outlets are connected via a branched system within the helmet shell, ensuring excellent ventilation. The closure sliders are easily distinguishable even when wearing gloves. The integrated spoiler at the rear of the helmet stabilizes it at higher speeds. The aerodynamic design reduces wind resistance and lift tendency. The helmet comes standard with a clear CWR-F2 visor, and a variety of tinted and mirrored visors are also available, each compatible with the Pinlock® lens. The package includes a breath guard, chin guard, SHOEI logo sticker, original SHOEI helmet bag, and a silicone oil for visor seal and mechanism maintenance.
