The SHOEI Helmet GT-Air 2 Affair TC-3 features a helm shell constructed from AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) combined with a multi-element polystyrene core system to provide optimal impact protection. The factory-installed clear CNS-1 visor can be quickly and easily swapped out without tools, thanks to a quick-change mechanism. For clear vision even in adverse weather conditions, the included Pinlock® Evo insert prevents fogging. The chin strap with micro ratchet closure is easy to operate and adjust. In emergencies, the cheek pads can be easily removed using the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System). Cheek pads, head cushion, and chin strap cushion are removable and washable. To achieve a customized fit, head and cheek pads in different thicknesses are available. The high-quality, integrated QSV-2 sun visor can be seamlessly extended and optionally exchanged for a yellow sun visor. Ear area cutouts, as well as pre-fitted cable guides and mounting locations for components, facilitate the quick and easy installation of the Shoei SRL2 Communication System. Multiple intake and exhaust vents help reduce temperature inside the GT-Air II. The visor ratchet allows for an additional fresh air intake by slightly opening the visor. Various tinted and mirror-finished visors are available optionally. The delivery contents of the Shoei GT-Air II include a Pinlock® Evo insert for the CNS-1 visor, matching visor spare pins, a breath guard, a chin curtain, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicon oil for the maintenance of visor seals and mechanics.
