The outer shell of the NXR2 helmet is made from AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), providing optimal impact protection in conjunction with the polystyrene core system composed of absorption layers. The newly developed CWR-F2 visor allows for distortion-free and very natural vision through its two-dimensional shape. An centrally positioned locking mechanism prevents unwanted visor openings, and thanks to the new mechanism, the visor can be quickly and easily changed and adjusted without the need for tools. The extended Pinlock®-Evo lens ensures clear vision even in challenging weather conditions, with the attachment points set further back for an unobstructed view. The easily adjustable Double-D ring keeps the helmet securely in place. In case of an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed using the EQRS-System (Emergency Quick Release System). Whether for sporty use or touring, its lightweight design reduces neck muscle strain. Cheek pads, head pads, and chin strap pads are removable and washable, allowing for personalized adjustments with different pads. There are ear area recesses for the installation of a communication system. Six air inlets and four exhaust outlets are connected through a branched system within the helmet shell. Even with gloves on, the closure sliders are easy to feel. The integrated spoiler at the back of the head stabilizes the helmet at higher speeds. With its aerodynamically optimized design, the NXR2 reduces wind resistance and lift tendency. The helmet comes standard with a clear CWR-F2 visor, and various tinted and mirrored visors are also available. Each visor can accommodate a Pinlock® lens. Included in the package are a breath guard, a chin guard, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for visor seal and mechanism maintenance.
