The suit guarantees maximum protection with composite protectors on the knees, elbows, and shoulders, and soft Pro-Shape 2.0 protectors on the hips. Additional safety can be achieved by inserting chest protectors in the internal pockets. The Avro 4 features removable and replaceable sliders on the knees and replaceable aluminum plates on the shoulders—a special technology by Dainese that aids sliding in the event of a fall, preventing hazardous rollovers caused by asphalt grip. The aerodynamic hump on the shoulders and neck enhances aerodynamic performance. For extra comfort, the suit includes extensive S1 stretch fabric inserts on the inner arms, groin, and back of the legs, Microelastic 2.0 leather inserts on the back and arms for enhanced mobility while maintaining leather protection, and adjustable zippered vents on the chest for ventilation.
