The SHOEI GT-Air 2 helmet features an AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) shell combined with a multi-element polystyrene core system for optimal impact protection. The standard clear CNS-1 visor can be easily swapped out without tools thanks to the quick-change mechanism. For clear visibility in poor weather conditions, the helmet includes a Pinlock® Evo insert. The chin strap with micro ratchet closure is easy to use and adjust. In an emergency, the cheek pads can be quickly removed using the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System). The cheek pads, headliner, and chin strap cover are removable and washable. To customize the fit, head and cheek pads can be purchased in various thicknesses. The integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun visor can be smoothly extended and optionally exchanged for a yellow sun visor. Ear area recesses and prepared cable routing as well as installation positions for the device components make it quick and easy to install the Shoei SRL2 communication system. Multiple ventilation inlets and outlets reduce temperature inside the GT-Air II. The visor lock allows for a slightly open position for extra fresh air. A variety of visors with different tints and mirror coatings are available. The helmet comes with a Pinlock® Evo insert for the CNS-1 visor, spare visor pins, a breath guard, a chin curtain, a SHOEI logo sticker, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for visor sealing and mechanism maintenance.
