The SHOEI X-SPR Proxy TC-10 full-face helmet boasts designs and advanced features tailored specifically for racing. Tested by Marc Márquez on the track, it’s set to revolutionize the racing world once again. The outer shell is made of AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix+), combining organic fibers, multi-fiber, and high-performance fiber materials in various layers to create an impact-absorbent helmet shell. To ensure high safety levels, the helmet is equipped with dual-density EPS for shock absorption. Standard features include a Pinlock EVO shield with optional tear-offs. The precise positioning of the EPS enhances shock absorption and ventilation, ensuring a compact and lightweight helmet design. The helmet also includes the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System), easing helmet removal after a fall by removing the side padding. The X-SPR Pro’s interior padding is crafted from very soft fabrics with optimal moisture absorption and fast drying; it’s fully removable, washable, and replaceable. Its powerful ventilation system includes 7 air inlets with opening and closing systems and 6 air outlets. The SHOEI X-SPR Pro helmet also has a chin guard and a spoiler, both removable and attachable to the lower edge to reduce wind noise and turbulence. These elements can be used together or separately. It features a Double-D ring closure for easy handling. A detachable nose cover is also included, which can be integrated into the chin guard's upper edge to reduce visor fogging by redirecting warm air to the helmet’s underside. The inner area of the chin guard is designed to attach a hydration system, allowing the rider to maintain concentration during long-distance or endurance races in extreme conditions and high temperatures.
