The outer shell of the NXR2 is crafted from AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) combined with the shock-absorbing polystyrene core system, offering optimal impact protection. The newly developed CWR-F2 visor, with its two-dimensional design, provides a distortion-free and very natural view. A centrally placed locking mechanism prevents unintended visor opening. Thanks to the new mechanism, the visor can be quickly and tool-free switched and adjusted. The larger Pinlock® Evo lens and the rearward positioning of the fastening points ensure an undisturbed view even in challenging weather conditions. The easily adjustable Double-D ring keeps the helmet securely in position. In emergencies, the cheek pads can be easily removed via the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System). Whether for sporty rides or touring, its lightweight construction eases neck strain. Removable and washable cheek pads, head pads, and chin strap padding allow for customization and hygiene. There are also cut-outs in the ear area for installing a communication system. The helmet features 6 air inlets and 4 outlets connected through an intricate internal ventilation system. Even with gloves, the closure sliders are easily accessible. An integrated spoiler at the rear stabilizes the helmet at higher speeds. Its aerodynamically optimized design minimizes wind resistance and lift tendency. The NXR2 comes standard with a clear CWR-F2 visor. Visiors in varied shades and mirror finishes are available, and each can accommodate a Pinlock® lens. The package includes a Breath Guard, Chin Guard, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for visor seal and mechanism maintenance.
