The SHOEI Helmet NXR2 Nocturne TC-5 is crafted with an AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) outer shell that, coupled with an absorption-composed polystyrene core system, provides optimal impact protection. The newly developed CWR-F2 visor offers distortion-free and highly natural vision due to its two-dimensional design. A centrally located locking mechanism prevents accidental visor openings. The innovative visor mechanism allows for quick and tool-free visor changes and adjustments. The larger Pinlock® Evo lens, with its rearward mounting points, ensures unobstructed vision even in challenging weather conditions. The easily adjustable Double-D closure securely keeps the helmet in place. In the event of an emergency, the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) allows for easy removal of the cheek pads. Whether used for sports or touring, its lightweight construction relieves neck muscle strain. The helmet’s cheek pads, head pads, and chin strap pads are removable and washable, and can be customized with different sizes. There are cutouts for installing a communication system in the ear area. The helmet features 6 air intakes and 4 exhaust outlets connected through an intricate internal channel system. The closing sliders are easily operable even with gloves. The integrated spoiler in the rear stabilizes the helmet at higher speeds. Its aerodynamically optimized design reduces wind resistance and lift tendency. The helmet comes standard with a clear CWR-F2 visor, and various tinted and mirrored visors are available. Each visor can accommodate a Pinlock® lens. Included in the package are a breath guard, a chin guard, a SHOEI logo sticker, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for maintaining the visor seal and mechanism.
