The VERTEX 2-stroke piston is crafted using gravity casting from an aluminum alloy containing 18% silicon. The addition of silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, thereby decreasing the likelihood of piston chatter and breakage. This silicon enhancement also provides the piston with better wear-resistance properties, thereby extending its lifespan. Each piston kit includes the piston, piston ring(s), wrist pin, and wrist pin circlip. Available in three versions: Replica (matches the original piston shape), Race (performance-enhancing piston design), and Pro Race (forged special piston).
