The VERTEX 2-Stroke Pistons are crafted through gravity casting using an aluminum alloy with an 18% silicon content. The incorporation of silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, which in turn decreases the likelihood of piston clatter and breakage. Additionally, silicon enhances the pistons' wear resistance, thus extending their lifespan. Each piston kit includes piston rings, a piston pin, and a piston circlip. The 2-Stroke piston configurations are available in three variants: Replica, which mirrors the original design; Race, a performance-enhancing configuration; and Pro Race, a specially forged high-performance piston.
