VERTEX 2-Stroke Pistons are gravity cast from an aluminum alloy containing 18% silicon. This high silicon content reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, making the piston less susceptible to noise and failure. Silicon also enhances the piston's wear characteristics, thereby extending its lifespan. The kit includes the piston, piston ring(s), piston pin, and piston pin clip. Available in three configurations for 2-stroke engines: Replica (matches the original shape), Race (performance-enhanced design), and Pro Race (forged specialty piston).
