VERTEX 2-Stroke pistons are gravity cast from an aluminum alloy with an 18% silicon content. The silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, providing the advantage of making the piston less prone to rattling and breakage. Additionally, silicon grants better wear properties, thereby extending the piston’s lifespan. This piston kit includes the piston, piston ring(s), piston pin, and piston pin retaining clips. VERTEX offers several 2-stroke piston variants: Replica, which matches the original form; Race, which is designed for performance enhancement; and Pro Race, a forged special piston for top-tier performance.
