The VERTEX TopEnd Piston Kit KTM Replica features high-quality 2-stroke pistons crafted through gravity casting using an aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content. The inclusion of silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, which minimizes the risk of piston slap and breakage. Additionally, silicon enhances the pistons' wear resistance, therefore extending their lifespan. Each kit includes the piston, piston rings, a piston pin, and piston pin clips. VERTEX offers different piston types for 2-stroke engines: Replica, which matches the original design; Race, for performance enhancements; and Pro Race, a specially forged piston.
