VERTEX 2-stroke pistons are crafted through gravity casting using an aluminum alloy with an 18% silicon content. The silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, which means the piston is less prone to rattling and breakage. Additionally, silicon enhances wear resistance, thereby extending the piston’s lifespan. This kit includes the piston, piston ring(s), piston pin, and circlips. VERTEX offers three types of 2-stroke pistons: Replica (matches the original design), Race (performance-enhancing design), and Pro Race (forged special piston).
