The brand-new Tech-Air 10 Airbag System by ALPINESTARS has redefined safety for motorcycle riders. As the latest member of the Tech-Air family, it stands alongside the Tech Air 5 as the leading airbag technology for motorcyclists. The Tech-Air 10 Airbag System consists of an electronic airbag control unit (integrated into the back protector) and two external sensors (attached to the shoulders). These sensors include three tri-axial accelerometers (one on the back protector and two on the shoulders) and a tri-axial gyroscope (on the back protector). These sensors continuously monitor the rider's body for vibrations, shocks, or unexpected movements. Equipped with an integrated Bluetooth Low Energy device (BLE), the system directly connects with your smartphone to receive important information and provide user access to certain functions (the airbag operates independently of the Tech Air App). The lithium-ion battery offers up to 30 hours of riding time. A LED display indicates the operational status of the airbag. Included in the package: magnetic Micro-USB charger.
