The new Alpinestars Tech-Air Race-E Airbag Vest is designed for all airbag-compatible jackets. It offers comprehensive upper body protection including back, shoulder, kidney area, chest, and upper abdomen. The exterior material consists of durable mesh textile and polyester fabric on the shoulders and upper body, ensuring optimal fit to the body. The electronic sensors are securely and unobtrusively embedded, allowing the vest to be worn with all compatible jackets. YKK zippers enable quick and secure attachment of the vest to the outer jacket. The airbag control unit (ACU) is embedded in the solid polymer back protector and sealed to ensure its all-weather performance. It has been proven to function at temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C, ensuring system application in any weather condition. The lithium-ion battery provides 25 hours of usage and can be fully charged in 6 hours. A micro USB charger (included) allows convenient charging, with a 1-hour charge providing 4 hours of riding time. The Argon cartridge pumps are certified according to ISO 14451 standard, meaning the airbag can only deploy when the electronic unit is activated. Tech-Air meets Category II requirements and is certified according to the PPE Directive 89/686/EEC with the EN1621-2:2014 standard, ensuring impact protection from 25 milliseconds to up to 5 seconds.
