VERTEX TopEnd Piston Kit KTM, HQV Replica

Brand:

VERTEX

Product Code:

1015150

Manufacturer ID:

VTK23630A-1

Description

The VERTEX 2-stroke pistons are crafted using gravity casting from an aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content. The inclusion of silicon reduces thermal expansion at operating temperatures, thus making the piston less susceptible to knocking and breakage. Silicon also imparts better wear resistance to the pistons, prolonging their service life. The piston kit includes piston rings, piston pin, and circlip. Piston types for 2-stroke engines are available in different variations: Replica models mimic the original form, Race models enhance performance, and Pro Race models are forged for specialized applications.
