The SHOEI GT-Air 2 motorcycle helmet is engineered with an AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) shell that works in conjunction with a multi-component polystyrene core to deliver optimal impact protection. The helmet features a quick-change mechanism allowing the standard clear CNS-1 visor to be swapped without tools. For clear vision in adverse weather conditions, the helmet includes a Pinlock®Evo lens. The chin strap with a micro ratchet closure is easy to use and adjust. In emergencies, the cheek pads can be easily removed thanks to the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System). The helmet's cheek pads, head pads, and chin strap pads are removable and washable, and different thicknesses can be purchased for a customized fit. The integrated QSV-2 sun shield is infinitely adjustable and can be replaced with an optional yellow sun visor. The ear area features cutouts and pre-installed cable routing and mounting positions for easy installation of the Shoei SRL2 communication system. Multiple intake and exhaust vents regulate the temperature inside the GT-Air 2. The visor ratchet allows for a slightly open position to let in extra fresh air. A variety of tinted and mirrored visors are available as options. Included with the Shoei GT-Air 2 are a Pinlock®Evo lens for the CNS-1 visor, spare pins for the visor, a breath guard, a chin curtain, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag, and silicone oil for visor seal and mechanism maintenance.
