The VERTEX TopEnd Piston Kit for KTM and HQV is a specialized 2-stroke piston crafted using a gravity casting process from an aluminum alloy containing 18% silicon. The inclusion of silicon helps reduce thermal expansion at operating temperatures, thereby minimizing the risk of piston slap and fracture damage. This makes the piston more durable and extends its lifespan. Silicon also enhances the piston's wear-resistance properties. The kit comes complete with piston rings, piston pin, and circlips. There are three variations available for 2-stroke engines: Replica - matching the original form, Race - performance-enhancing design, and Pro Race - featuring a forged special piston.
